When someone phones up our sales and helpline and asks for advice on a good twin set DECT phone to call The Gigaset C620A Twin is one of those products that always springs to mind. A list of its functions is almost unnecessary as it does pretty much everything a home cordless phone has ever done so I will focus on the few things that really make these telephones stand out from the crowd.
For a start the C620A comes with a 1.8′ TFT screen with a clear and brilliant colour display via which you can access all the phone’s many functions – these, as stated previously are many.
This Gigaset Twin comes with a built in eco mode which is a specific Gigaset feature by which the phone goes into a kid of sleep mode whilst not in use which leads to a drop in power consumption which means lower bills and less CO2 emission as a result.
Another feature that we like is the nuisance call blocking feature which Gigaset are rolling out in most of their phones – meaning that if you subscribe to caller ID via your line supplier you are able to set up a series of rules, filters or blocks which will alleviate the deadening and annoying deluge of hassly sales and claim line calls many of us receive on a daily basis. Its great when an old friend or your mum calls you but unsolicited sales calls are just horrendous and draining and many seniorS find it quite oppressive.
Another beautiful addition to the basic DECT functionality is that the handsets double up as a Baby Monitor meaning that one handset can be left in a baby room and the other set to monitor mode. We think that this function could also be extended to spy on family members which could be fun though we would not condone such an action.
Apart from the fact that this phone does everything it also fulfils very important criteria of looking good, feeling good and working well and reliably making it a very nice telephone to own.
